Why one game
Dragon Link is on gaming floors across the country, and most pages about it are either Aristocrat's own showroom copy or sites selling an online casino with the game's name in the headline. We wanted one place that answers the plain questions — how Hold & Spin actually works, what the four jackpots are, which title is which, where the machines are — with a source under every answer.
Who writes it
Every page is written by Mia Kowalczyk, the pen name of our editor. She reads the primary sources, writes the page and dates each check.
Where the facts come from
In this order: Aristocrat's own game pages and catalogue; rules and technical standards published by state and territory regulators; the gaming pages of the venues themselves. Review sites are used only to find something to check, never as the source. The full method is on Our method.
What we won't publish
- Invented numbers — returns, jackpot figures or "feature every N spins" that we can't trace to a source.
- "Hot" or "due" machines, systems or tricks that claim to beat a random number generator.
- Any claim that an online casino holds an Australian licence. None can: online casinos aren't licensed here.
Independence
Lantern Reels isn't affiliated with Aristocrat, any venue or any casino. How the site is paid for is on How this site is funded.
